June NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the June NC Demos Blog Hop! We are so glad you are here! You might have already stopped by Kelly Taranto's post and know this month's theme, but if you are just popping in this month's theme is Let's Celebrate Summer. 

I chose Summer Happiness Photopolymer Stamp set and Cut & Emboss set to match. I stamped the camera with Stampin'Up Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad, the sun with SU Golden Glow Classic Stampin' Pad, the flip flops with SU Hydrangea Hue Classic Stampin' Pad, and the sentiment I stamped twice with SU Crisp Cantaloupe and a touch of Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pads. I use the Stampin' Positioner when I stamp so that's where my problem with the ink came in. I colored in the camera and flip flops with various colored pencils. I stamped the flip flops first and then die cut the flip flops as they come stamped. The dies are made differently so I had to redo them and do the opposite first- die cut the flip flops first and then stamp. I then trimmed the flip flops with scissors so there wouldn't be excess white paper around the bottom of the flip flops. The DSP is from Beautiful Ordinary Life 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper that I trimmed down to fit the card base. I believe the card base and the mat for the sentiment is from SU 2022-2024 In Colors 8.5 x 11 cardstock. The bling is from Dewdrops Embellishments. Thank you for letting me share my project. May Stampin'Up NC Demos Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop! We are so glad you are here! I'm the last stop on the hop so you might have already stopped by Frances Wagner's post and know this month's theme, but if you are just popping in this month's theme is Sketch it Out following the sketch below. 

I chose Fern & Flora stamps and die for my card. I used 4 of the new Stampin'Up In Colors- Peaceful Pine on the Fern images, Hyrangea Hue on the lines that are hiding and the outline of the sentiment, Golden Glow on the moth and the sentiment,  and Crisp Cantaloupe on the floral image and the butterfly. The DSP I used is Stampin'Up Masterfully Made 12 x 12 DSP that I trimmed down with my SU trimmer to fit the card. The buttons are from Stampin'Up from my stash- most likely a RAK. April Demos Blog

Welcome to the April 2026 NC Demos Blog Hop! I chose Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP for my quilt element and Masterfully Made DSP for the background design. I stamped the sentiment from Fern & Flora Photopolymer Stamp set with Stampin'Up Classic Stampin' Pad Barely Blush and the journaling block stamp with SU Classic Stampin' Pad Hydrangea Hue.  The sequins and cardstock- card base, and mats are also from SU, but I don't remember which collection. NC Demos Mini Catty January Hop

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop! We are so glad you are here! You might have already stopped by  Laurie's post and see that this month's theme is Anything Goes as long as it features products from the January to April Mini catalog.

For my card I chose Country Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set. I used Very Vanilla Cardstock, and Subtles Cardstock- I chose the Valentine colors of red, pink, and purple (they actually are also my favorite colors). I stamped the hearts with Real Red and Highland Heather Classic ink pads and for the sentiment I used Rich Razzleberry Classic ink pad. The sequins were a RAK from another scrapbooking group I belong to and are also Stampin' Up. I decided not to use DSP on this card and layered my cardstock in a plus formation. I decided to add dimensionals under the sentiment and between the red hearts. 

We are also supposed to mention what is on our wish list from the new catalog. I have already purchased the Famous Sayings set a few weeks ago when I purchased a Cut & Emboss 6" machine. I have not used the stamp set yet, but have used my Cut & Emboss machine and am loving it! As for my wishlist, I have not purchased the Boardwalk Fun Bundle yet, but I plan to do so. The palm trees remind me of Florida and I hope to see some when I go to OnStage in Long Beach on March 11! Thank you for letting me share my card. Amanda

NC Stampin'Up Demos Blog Hop

For my project I chose to make a Thinking of You card for my Great Aunt Susie who is in the hospital in Pensacola, FL with a broken femur. I chose 2 stamp sets from Stampin'Up- Art Gallery for the images and Friends for Life for the Sentiment. I used Highland Heather ink on the sentiment, I layered the flower 3 times with 3 different stamps with Rich Razzleberry ink and the stem/leaves with Old Olive ink. I accented the flower and stem/leaves with Stamp & Write markers. I chose Subtles 8.5x11 cardstock for the card base, stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and fussy cut all images and sentiment out, and added Perennial Lavender 12 x 12 DSP to make the images stand out more. Growing In Unity Day 5

 Welcome back to the last day of my Growing In Unity week. I have enjoyed this week and all your kind comments.

For my last card, I chose the set What Will Be Will Be. I decided to color the stamped image in with the same colored pencils- Color In. I decided to turn this card horizontally instead of vertical since the image is bigger and the sentiment fits better this way. The sticker is from a sticker swap with a Scrapbook group on Facebook. The bling and the pink paper is from The Stamps of Life.

Growing In Unity Day 4

Welcome back to my Growing In Unity week! I decided to make the last 2 cards as simple as can be and let the stamps be the main focus. For this card I used Rebuild Your Life. I colored in the flower with several different Color In colored pencils. I color better with colored pencils sometimes. The bling is from The Stamps of Life and so is the orange paper. Growing In Unity Day 3

 

Welcome back for Day 3 of my Growing In Unity week! I decided to make 2 cards today from Joy & Brighter Days by Tierra Jackson. I used the same white cardstock from my stash on both and Stampin'Up Regency Park  Designer Series Paper. I added lace from Lace Place on the wagon card just to separate the 2 pieces of paper. I added twine from Stampin'Up to both just to change them up a little. I colored in the images with Spectrum Noir markers. Please come back tomorrow to see what I have to share. Have a great day!

Growing in Unity Day 2

 Welcome back to my GIU week! Thank you so much for all the kind comments yesterday. I have another card to share with you today. My cousin, Caroline, is getting married on Saturday to her high school sweetheart, Zach, so I had to make a wedding card.

As you can see, I chose From This Day Forward by Angie Blom. I used the same type card base from my stash as yesterday and Stampin' Up Regency Park Designer Series Paper 6x6 paper pack. I used Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers and Copic Black. I fussy cut the sentiments and added DSP under each and attached them down with my Xyron 150 Create A Sticker maker. I believe the clear bling is from The Stamps of Life again.

I sent Caroline a gift through her Amazon registry and she has already received it and sent me a Thank You card for it. I love how fast Amazon is! Caroline has been in so many friends' weddings that she had to put hers off a little to get through them first. I can't wait to celebrate with Caroline and Zach on Saturday! She's going to be Caroline Ray. I'm sure some of you remember Caroline Rhea from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. My cousin, Caroline, is nothing like her. Even though, Caroline Rhea's birthday is April 13. How ironic! I look forward to sharing more cards with you the rest of the week! Did anyone get to see the eclipse yesterday? I was at work in the break room and turned the TV on to ABC and caught it as it happened in Ohio, Illinois, and Arkansas. 300 people were actually married in Arkansas during the eclipse. That's amazing! I'm also doing an Instagram hop today for National Unicorn Day. I would love to have you hop along, no prize involved. Growing In Unity Day 1

 Welcome to my week of Growing In Unity! I look forward to sharing at least 5 different cards this week! Please leave a comment on each day for your chance to win a $20 credit from Unity Stamp Company. I will choose 2 winners at the end of the week. Now, on with my card. I chose the stamp set Vintage Friend Uniquely Unity February 2022 by AngMag for today's card. The card base is from my stash, the Designer Series Paper is from Regency Park from Stampin'Up DSP 6x6 paper pack, I colored in the camera stamped image with Spectrum Noir markers, and the 3 enamel dots in the top right corner are from The Stamps of Life. I fussy cut around the sentiments and added them down to my card so that the leaves look like they're pointing to them as accents.

A Day At the Beach

I made this card for a swap yesterday and am just getting around to blogging about it. I'm entering this card in The Sisterhood of Crafters Beach Challenge. I used Unity Stamp Company to the beach background border stamp and Beach Girl sentiment on the front and colored in with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The inside extra stamped images are from Cowtown Creates Seaside Bay. I stamped the background border with My Favorite Things Extreme Black hybrid ink and the sentiment with Versa fine Black Ones ink. The oysters I stamped with Archival black ink and also included 3 sentiments from Seaside Bay, but didn't take pictures. I made this card for an O is for swap for a group on Facebook and the lady who will receive this card doesn't follow my blog. The paper and the enamel dots are from The Stamps of Life. The twine is Watermelon Sorbet from Trendy Twine, but is no longer available. I hope my swap partner enjoys this card as much as I enjoyed making it!

Happy Cinco de Mayo

I made this card on Friday or Cinco de Mayo using the taco fold-it from The Stamps of Life. All of the products I used except my scissors that I used to hold my card down is from The Stamps of Life. I had never made a taco card and I decided it was perfect for Cinco de Mayo! TFL and have a good day!

Growing In Unity Day Five

 

Welcome back to Growing In Unity Day 5 and Happy Cinco de Mayo! I can't believe our week has come to an end, but nothing lasts forever they say! I almost forgot to type my post last night since I type them out the night before. I was watching a movie on Amazon Prime- Love, Sarah, and remembered I haven't typed my blog entry yet. Oops! I'm not crazy, I'm really not! I'm human and just caught myself. LOL! I decided to add a sentiment to the inside of this card. I used ...so glad you were born February 2016 Sentiment Kit by Lisa Arana. I used My Favorite Things Extreme Black hybrid ink pad for the cupcake image and Ranger Archival Jet Black ink pad on both sentiments. I'm going to give this to my nephew in a couple weeks for his 5th birthday. I colored in the cupcake with Spectrum Noir Duo Colour and TriBlend Markers and used Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver Ingot Marker to accent the middle icing layer. I forgot to mention that if you use Spectrum Noir Markers you have to use Art Liner pens on whatever image you use first before you color it. It helps with the blending and the lighting. I took a class with Academy of Colour and learned that. I need to practice more on the blending. The paper is from The Stamps of Life. I'm not sure what the color is called possibly blue jay? I'm bad at remembering the color of card stock from them. I used to be a club member, but since I'm unemployed I'm no longer a club member since I can't afford it. I have a lot of their product and will use it until I run out! The bling is from KSCRAFT Mixed Colors. I really have enjoyed this week with you all! This is the most I have used my blog in some time. I remember when blogging was more popular. I used to be in blog hops, but you don't see many of those anymore either. I've got to scrap some time today or at least make a Taco card to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! I will blog about it Saturday and pick my winners for $20 gift credit to Unity Stamp Company. I hope you all have a good weekend and a great International Scrapbooking Day tomorrow! I can't wait to do some scrappin' myself or at least start a layout and watch the Kentucky Derby. I won't be getting up at 5am to watch King Charles' coronation, but will watch it later if it is available. Growing In Unity Day Four

Welcome back for Growing in Unity Day 4! May the Fourth be with you- my Star Wars plug for today! Haha! I used Catherine Girl for this card. I stamped the sentiment with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink pad and the image with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Hybrid ink pad. She is one of many Angie girls stamps by Angie Blom. I colored in Catherine with Spectrum Noir Duo Colour and TriBlend markers and used Spectrum Noir Glitter Vivid Pink and Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver Ingot  markers on the hearts around her. The pink glitter kept spreading in with the sky blue background. Oh well, it will still be a great Thank You card to have ready. The bling is adhesive-backed seasonal sequins from Stampin' Up. The paper/ card stock/ card base is guava from The Stamps of Life. Thanks again for all the comments. I have appreciated them all. Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the last day of the week. Growing In Unity Day Three

Welcome back to Growing In Unity Day 3! Did anyone catch Unity's Release last night? I did. All of the new stamps look fun! I couldn't pick a favorite. Ok, on with my card! I used Little Lucky Ducks by Tierra Jackson. I colored in the image and around it with ColorIn Watercolor Twist pencils. I stamped the image with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Hybrid Ink Pad and the sentiment with Ranger Archival Jet Black ink. The enamel dots are from KSCRAFT Mixed Colors. The paper is from The Stamps of Life. 

I don't know about you all, but I'm looking forward to National Scrapbook Day on Saturday and the Kentucky Derby! I may watch some of King Charles' coronation that morning as well unless it's early in the morning. I know London is ahead of where I am. I hope you all have a great Wednesday! I really appreciate all your comments! I'm going out with a friend tonight for supper and maybe Dairy Queen. I won't be working at Hobby Lobby and am a little bummed. I've gotta look for a job soon. Welcome back to GIU Day 2! The stamp set I chose is Unity Stamp Company Allow Yourself by Angie Blom. I stamped the image with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored it in with Spectrum Noir Duo Colour and TriBlend Markers. I used a Spectrum Noir Metallic Silver Ingot marker to accent the butterfly, The sentiment I stamped in with Ranger Archival Black ink. I probably should have stamped the sentiment again before I took the picture, but I may go over it with a Spectrum Noir Art Liner pen before I give it away. The enamel dots are from KCRAFT Mixed Colors. The cardstock/card base is pixie from The Stamps of Life. They have the best quality in cardstock! Don't forget to come back tomorrow! Welcome to May and Day One of my Growing in Unity week! The stamped image was a freebie from Unity Stamp Company for me so I had to look it up on the website. It's from Trust the Creator by Phyllis Harris. Since I don't have the sentiment that comes with the stamp I found another one from Unity. I used Just a card to brighten your day from ...say it with love Unity Sentiment Kit 2020 by Lisa Arana. I used My Favorite Things Extreme Black ink to stamp the image and Ranger Archival Black ink to stamp the sentiment. The cardstock/card base is guava from The Stamps of Life. I colored in the stamped image with Spectrum Noir DuoColour Markers. The bling is from KSCRAFT Mixed Colors. I look forward to sharing with you all more of my favorite stamps from Unity. Retro Rubber Challenge #205

 

I made this card using the sketch above from Retro Rubber Challenge Blog. I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a post about it! The stamp set is from Craftin' Desert Diva's June 2018 Release. I used one of the stamps and a sentiment. They're no longer in business. I used Blue Belle ink from Close To My Heart on the sentiment and My Favorite Things Extreme Black ink on the ice cream cone. If you place an order with Katy on her CTMH website this weekend,  you will be entered to win $48 CTMH cash. I used Spectrum Noir DuoColor markers to color in the stamped image. The patterned paper is from Close to My Heart Sugar Rush collection and it is no longer sold. The cardstock/card base is from Stampin' Up In Color 8.5 x11 paper pack. The 3 mint chip enamel dots are from The Stamps of Life. The cupcake brad is from a friend on Facebook for  a swap. I stamped the sentiment and ice cream cone on Powdered Sugar paper from The Stamps of Life. I've never used the blue ink from CTMH, but it stamped pretty well.
