You should have arrived here from Kim's blog.
Here is my project for today's hop:

I made this mini file folder album for a swap with Girls, Giggle, Glitter, and Glue (a private scrapbook group) on Facebook. The first picture is of the cover. First of all we were to use 8.5 x 11 manila file folders and follow a YouTube tutorial. I followed Taylored Expressions.  I used Mambi Sunshine 12x12 scrapbooking paper pad. The shell and dream land stickers are stickers I bought from a beach collection I found at Dollar Tree. The Summer block & tab Sleep on the Pier I cut out of Pebbles Lakeside 6x6 paper pad. The blue strip on the side is Duck tape.

This inside paper is Recollections Flips Flops paper. The Sunshine paper is from the Mambi Sunshine pad. The arrow sticker is from my stash. The sunglasses & sand stickers are from the same sticker collection above from Dollar Tree.

Here is the tags individually: The paper is Recollections Water 12 x 12 paper. The ribbon is American Crafts. The stickers are from Sticko Beach collection.
The paper on this tag is from Oriental Trading Company beach collection. The ribbon is American Crafts. The stickers are also Sticko Beach collection. The flamingo, flip flops, and palm tree stamps are Recollections & I used Recollections markers to stamp them with.
This is the next spread of the album. The yellow/orange paper is from the same Mambi Sunshine pad. The umbrella paper is from Oriental Trading Beach collection. The hat sticker is from Sticko Beach collection.
Here are the tags for this spread: The paper on this one is Recollections Aqua. The sunscreen sticker is from Sticko Beach collection. The other stickers are from the Dollar Tree sticker collection as before. The ribbon is Martha Stewart Crafts.
The paper on this tag is from Oriental Trading Beach Collection and the stickers are from Sticko Beach collection. The ribbon is from my stash.
This is the back cover using the same paper as the front from the Mambi Sunshine pad.
This is the finished product after I added Martha Stewart Crafts ribbons & a clothespin from stash to keep the ribbon tied.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
Your next stop on the hop is Alicia where I'm sure she has something sweet to share! Don't forget to comment on each blog and become a follower if you'd like!

Last of Father's Day Cards

I made the Father's Day card above for my step-grandfather. My intent was to make it look like a button down shirt & I nailed it! The card base is Core'dinations A7 (5x7) Kraft card. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy 6x6 paper pad. The button stamps & the silhouette tie stamps are from Unity Stamp Company May 2013 Totally & Utterly Amazing KOTM. I used Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink to stamp all the stamps. The happy father's day stamp is Studio G iClear stamps. The red bling is from my stash that I received in a prize from Scrapping Everyday Miracles that Helen sent me. The twine is a RAK from Heather that I added to look like the thread down the side of a button down shirt & I added the bling as a button on the "pocket" stamp. The blue mats are from Best Occasions Textured 12x12 scrapbook pad. This is the first time I have tried this design & will be using it again. I think this is my best out of 4 different styles of Father's Day cards that I made!
I used the same stamps and ink on the bottom card as above. I used white copy paper for each card. I made 10 of these for my PreK-1st Grade Sunday School Class & left the inside blank for them to decorate & a few wrote inside. I had to help with spelling and some added stickers. I had 9 out of 10 students, so I did good! My fingers were covered in ink by the time I was finished, but it washed off! LOL! I made all of these on Saturday afternoon so I had a productive crafting day! :)

I'll be participating in A Bug Outside Blog Hop this coming Saturday, June 27 so please come back & hop with us! The hop will start with Theresa's blog. I have VBS at church this week at night and working 3 days this week so I may not be blogging again until then. Have a great week! TFL!

King of the Grill

I made the following Father's Day card using the sketch above from CAS(E) this Sketch. The challenge ends Thursday, June 18 at 9am EST so you still have a few days to play along! Now onto my card:

The card base is Core'dinations A7 (5x7) Kraft card set. All of the stickers is from Sticko King of the Grill sticker set. The 4 squares are from one sheet of Pebbles Lakeside 6x6 paper pad & I stamped the sentiment on the back of part of the same sheet. The sentiment "happy father's day" is Studio iClear stamp set & I used VersaFine Black Onyx pigment ink to stamp it. I made this card for my stepdad  & he truly is "King of the Grill" here at the house! The gray paper is Close To My Heart- not sure the collection since I have 2 collections.

This grill sticker that I put on the inside is from the same Sticko collection as on the front of the card. I'll handwrite a message before Sunday.  I'm going to be participating in A Bug Outside Blog Hop on June 27- which also happens to be my birthday- you can get more information about it on the blinkie in the top right corner of my blog. Please come back before then to see some other cards I have made recently. I've been making cards like crazy & falling behind in blogging about them! TFL & have a great day! :)

Expresso Yourself

I made this card for my stepsister last night at my crop. I've made 2 other cards, but will post them in another entry. I'm linking up this card with Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and the challenge ends June 12 so feel free to join along- it must be summer theme & include coffee. Now for the details of my card. The card base is Core'dinations Kraft smooth A7 (5x7), the paper is from my stash- I'm not sure of the manufacturer, the bling is also from my stash. I found the coffee cups & sentiment inside- "Expresso Yourself!" on Pinterest  Coffee Zenspiration! If the pin/link doesn't work you can follow me on Pinterest and you'll see the pin on my Scrapbooking board. The Happy Birthday stamp is part of Stampin Up! Remembering Your Birthday 8 stamp collection, I used VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, & stamped it on a piece of Paper Pizzazz Purple Swirls 12x12 paper. I used Recollections Masterpiece II Dual-Tip Water Based Markers, American Crafts Chromatix markers- 2 different shades of purple, Hampton Arts Black Dual Tip Marker, & Gelly Roll 8 White Pen to color the cups and to highlight Expresso Yourself. I used Recollections Foam Adhesive to make the coffee cups stand out & Ameritech glue runner on the paper & both sentiments. I also borrowed an XACTO knife to cut out around the handles. TFL! Please come back soon to see the other cards I made. Have a great weekend!
