Altenew Challenge
I haven't used this Altenew stamp set until today- Blooming Mandalas. I stamped it with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink and colored it in with various Stamp and Write markers and Copics. The sentiment is also part of the set and stamped with the same ink. I usually use patterned paper on my cards behind my stamps, but I wanted this semi-mandala image to stand out. I popped up the sentiment with 2 Stampin' Up dimensionals. I used Colorbok 8.5 x 11 Bright Smooth Cardstock that I trimmed down to A2 card size for the card base. It's basically half a sheet of cardstock folded in half. I may send this to a friend or I may keep it in my stash for later. The sequins are from The Stamps of Life Sequins And More 2 set.

Growing In Unity Day Five
Welcome back to Day 5 and my last day of Growing in Unity! I have appreciated all the comments this week. I decided to make another birthday card. I used Happy Birthday Itty Bitty by Joslyn Nielson and stamped it with Gina K Designs Amalgam Ink on white paper. I colored in the image with Monte Marte Dual Tip Markers- they are very similar to Copics. The patterned paper is from Recollections Home Basics 6 x 6 inch Paper Pad that I trimmed down to fit the card. The card base is from Colorbok Brilliant 8.5 x 11 Smooth Cardstock trimmed down to A2 card size. The enamel dots are from Stamps of Life. I adhered the patterned paper and the stamped image down with my Teresa Collins Xyron mega runner. That's all I have to share. Have a great weekend!

Growing in Unity Day Four
Welcome back to Day 4 of my Growing in Unity week! I didn't want to add paper behind the beach scene so it would stand out more. This stamp set is called ...always from the heart by Phyllis Harris. I stamped the sentiment and the beach scene with Gina K Amalgam ink. I colored the beach scene with Marvy ColorIn Watercolor Twist colored pencils. I tried to blend the colors to make the sky look sunset and the water look real. The card base is from DCWV A2 brights Printed Textured Cards. I ran the sentiment through my Xyron 150 Create-A-Sticker Maker to attach it to the card. I used my Teresa Collins Xyron mega runner to attach the beach scene to the card. The purple enamel dots are from my stash. I colored the 2 girls thinking of me and a best friend of mine. We didn't know each other as kids, but are forever friends. I'm the one on the right. I may mail this card to her. That's all I have to share today. Please come back tomorrow to see what I have to share on my last day. Have a great day!
