Valentine Easel
I made this card following this tutorial- Christmas Easel Card- after commenting on Kim's blog and saw that she made one. It looked easy and it was. The only difference with my card and the tutorial is I didn't follow the measurements exactly. I compared this card to A2 cards that I usually make and it's the same size. Mine is just a little smaller than the one in the tutorial. Anyway, I did use all Close To My Heart My Reflections La Vie En Rose paper packet except for the easel side is Basic Grey Vivienne Iris double sided patterned paper. The card base is My Reflections La Vie En Rose Ruby and I glued it together with Elmer's Craft Runner Tape. The sequins were a RAK that I can't remember who gave them to me right now. I used Elmer's Craft Bond Tacky Glue to glue them down. The washi tape and You Are Loved sticker are from Recollections Valentine Washi/sticker set. The Happy Valentine's Day is a Craft Smart stamp that I stamped with Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink on CTMH Whisper White card stock and then I fussy cut the image out. I added a Recollections foam square to the back of the image as well as the sentiment- From Me to You- which is part of the strip at the top of the CTMH La Vie En Rose paper- at the bottom of the easel. I didn't take a picture of the card folded flat, but the easel part will fold flat and fit in an A2 envelope to mail. I plan on mailing Valentine's out this year since I didn't mail out Christmas cards. I'll write a short note on the Whisper White side of the easel card before mailing. TFL!
