Now on to my project:

I decided to make a layout of my cats for this hop. The paper is actually from Recollections Christmas Pets 12 x 12 in Paper Pad, but not all of the pages like this one have Christmas on them. I decided to use this page to fit with the theme of the hop- Paw Prints on my Heart. The title- Cat-Titude is from Paper Issues Free Cut File Purrrfect Pet. The washi tape is from Recollections Lollipalooza Crafting Tape 15 roll tube. I dug through my stash for the photo mat on the left. I believe I bought it in a paper collection from Big Lots years ago and forgot the name of it. The other photo mat and quote- "a house without a cat is like a day without sunshine"- Julia Child is from Studio Calico Seven Paper Baxter 013 that was made in 2014 so it may be discontinued. The stamps under both pics are from Eyelet Outlet Cat Stamps set. I stamped them with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink on cardstock from my stash. I really dug through my stash for this layout and bought a few things! Lol! The purple cat sticker and the green journaling block that I cut in half is from a recent swap I was in- a pocket letter file folder I'll have to save that for another post! I typed my journaling on my computer using Kristen font- 55 (black male cat and older) and Feliz (female Tabby mix) are staring each other down before one of them attacks. Ok, I know y'all are wondering about their names. Let me give you some back story. They are both rescue cats. 55 was found on Hwy 55 left for dead with a hurt paw that he nursed back to health- he may still have a slight scar. Feliz climbed up my stepdad's leg on December 14, 2012- the same day of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. She was almost named Sandy, but it didn't fit and my grandmother's birthday is also that day so we almost named her Helen, still no fit, so we named her Feliz from the song Feliz Navidad since she came to us around Christmas in the rain. She came into his turf so he shows her who's boss from time to time and then she gets back at times as well. The other pic is of Feliz- she pulled down a blanket during the night- off a quilt rack- because she was cold and then decided to give herself a bath. There's a never a dull moment in our house with these 2! I take that back, I get peace and quiet when they're sleeping during the day. When they're awake and 55 is acting wild is when I'm watching children. LOL!
Now that I've got you all in stitches be sure to hop over to (Sandy https://simplycraftycreationsbysandys.blogspot.com/) where I'm sure she has something awesome to share!

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Family Memories

I used the above sketch #359 from Sketches in Thyme sketch challenge. I created a 2 page layout, but only used the 2nd page to follow the sketch.

The main paper I used on both layouts is from Stampin' Up! Under the Mistletoe 12 x 12 in Designer Series Paper. The title- Family Memories- is from Echo Park Company Magical Adventure Collection kit. The banner strips at the top and the bottom are also from Under the Mistletoe DSP. The tags at the top and the tag for journaling is from Colorbok Homemade Paper Plus 12 x 12 in Paper Pad. I wrote on the journaling tag with an ink pen- Emily and I were twins for the day. Mama is enjoying some Mimi time. I wrote the date- 12/13/18 on the tag at the top border. The photo mats are also from Stampin' Up but are from Petal Promenade cardstock.
 Both pages together
I know it seems odd that I included these pages in opposite order, but it's because of the sketch challenge. I was going to use the blue have a holly jolly Christmas- from Simple Stories Oh What Fun Collection. The green photo mat is from the same Stampin' Up Petal Promenade sheet and the other 2 are from another sheet from Under the Mistletoe DSP. The journaling block is also from the Colorbok Homemade pad. I wrote the journaling in again- This was a bittersweet Christmas. It was the last Christmas at Grandmama Farrow's house before it is sold. Dustin was holding BG for the first time in awhile. I made sugar cookies with Emily's help. That's all I have to share for now. I will be scrappin' more tomorrow and possibly today so please become a follower if you aren't to see what I will create next! TFL! :)
