Growing In Unity Day Five

Welcome back to Day 5 and the last day of my Growing In Unity week. I really have enjoyed all the comments this week! I'm sharing a card that I never blogged about or shared with my Unity family last year. Shocking, I know! LOL! I attended my first ever Stamp and Scrapbook Expo last September in Mesa, AZ. I won 2 tickets to choose which ever location I wanted to attend thanks to my good friend, Kim. I thoroughly enjoyed the expo and hopefully will get to go back this year. Anyway, one of the workshops I attended was a Card Swap Workshop. I'm going to share one of the cards I made for the workshop.
Stamp Set: Chapter One
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink
Background Paper: Craft Smith  Love U A Latte 12 in x 12 in Paper Pad
Card Base: Recollections 4 in x 5.5 in Card Pack
Coloring Medium: Various Colored Pencils Sets
Scotch Washi Tape possibly bought at Wal-Mart
Accented with Gelly Roll White Pen

I borrowed this stamp set from a friend to make this card. I want to buy it one day or I may just borrow it again. I swap images with a friend from my church who also loves Unity. Like I said before, I have thoroughly enjoyed this week! I will be picking my winners soon so be sure to keep checking to see if you won.

Growing In Unity Day Four

Welcome back to Growing In Unity Day Four. I have a birthday card to share today that I made for my sister- BG's mom if you saw the layout on Day Two. She's a July 4th baby is why I colored the cupcake red, white, and blue.

Background Paper: Creative Memories Nature's Whisper Paper Album Kit
Stamped Image: Unity Stamp Company Everyday Celebration
I didn't stamp this image a friend did so I'm not sure what kind of ink she used.
Coloring Medium: Various Colored Pencils Sets
Accented with Gelly Roll White and Metallic Silver Pens
Sentiment: Happy Birthday from Clearly Gina K My Anchor Photopolymer Stamp Set
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Pigment Ink
Unity Stamp Company Ariel Sequins adhered with one Glue Dot

Growing In Unity Day Three

Welcome back for Day Three of my Growing In Unity week. Thank you all for the kind comments. I will picking 2 winners at the end of the week for a chance at winning a grab bag from Unity Stamp Company.  Now onto my card that I have to share today.
Paper for card base: Close To My Heart- no sure which collection
Stamp Set: Unity Stamp Company Realize
Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black
Coloring Medium: Faber Castell Gelatos Pastel
Accented With: Gelly Roll White and Metallic Silver pens so her hair and the cloud will stand out
I'm not really sure on the size of the card. I stamped the image on typing paper and then decided to color it in with my gelatos instead of colored pencils. I then cut out the image and cut the paper out based on the size of the image. I have a few friends in mind that I could send this card, too, but not sure who yet. I love lighthouses- thus the reason for the "salnclts" in my blog link. Sal is short for Salamander a college nickname and "nclts" is short for North Carolina lighthouses. In other words, I  bought this stamp set, because I love lighthouses. That's all I have to share for today. Please come back tomorrow to see what I have to share and a chance to win some stamps! Happy Hump Day!

Now on to my project:
I decided to make a layout of pictures from Arizona. I went to Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Mesa last September and also visited Grand Canyon while I was in Arizona. Ok, now for the deets!  The paper is Recollections Wood Leaves 12 x 12 in Scrapbook Paper. The middle picture mat and journaling mat is from We R Memory Keepers High Five 6 x 6 in Paper Pad. The title stamp- Keep Your Curiosity Fresh is from Stampin' Up Adventure Awaits clear stamp set and I stamped it with VersaFine black onyx pigment ink on a piece of Recollections Strawberry Cream 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The other two photo mats are also the same Recollections paper.

I used a die from my stash and cut it out on my Cuttlebug. I printed the journaling out on my computer and it states that Laura and I walked a trail to the Grand Canyon and saw the deer just off the trail as we were almost to the canyon.  I'm hoping I can go to Arizona again this year for Stamp and Scrapbook Expo, but I may be going to another location. That's all I have for you today. Have a great weekend!
Now you're off to Sandy https://simplycraftycreationsbysandys.blogspot.com/ where I'm sure she has something awesome to share!

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.
