Warm Wishes
I made this to send out for Christmas this year and as an entry in Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop. I used Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Cocoa's Cups stamp set stamped with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Hybrid ink and colored in the image with various Spectrum Noir TriBlend and Duo Color markers. I stamped the sentiments with Gina K Designs Amalgam Jet Black ink. The inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set. All the cardstock is from The Stamps Of Life Hope & Joy Collection. The twine is from Trendy Twine Candy Cane. I used Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops to accent a few snowflakes. Thanks for looking and have a Happy Thanksgiving. The blog hop ends at midnight Pacific time.

Jingle All the Way
Happy First day of Fall! I know a Christmas card, right? Lol. This A1 Swish Card die set was in the September Jingle All the Way Card kit from The Stamps of Life. All the products used are from the kit except the adhesive sheet used on the Jingle All the Way die, but it's still a TSOL product. The twine is Candy Cane from Annie's Paper Boutique or Trendy Twine. TFL and by the way, please let me know if you like my new background.

Dream Big
I made this layout following the sketch from Stick It Down for September Single Page Sketch challenge. The 2 patterned papers are from Heidi Swapp Sun Chaser Collection kit. The main page is the opposite side of Sweet Thing and the bigger side of the layout is Sunburst. I just flipped the sketch. The stickers are from a recent great outdoors tag swap with a group I'm with on Facebook. The pictures were taken downtown New Bern, where I live, by DoubleTree Hotel. I included a picture of the bottom of the totem to show that is made as a memorial for a woman who died in 2007. I personally don't know the woman, but thought the flowers around the Extraterrestrial Totem are very pretty. The sequins are from The Stamps of Life Hibiscus Blooms and I glued them down with Tombow Aqua Mono Liquid Glue. The title- Dream Big is from Reminsce Quote Book Die Cut Stickers. The photo mat is also cardstock from Stamps of Life. Have a great weekend and TFL!

What's on my Desk
I made this card for a swap. The swap is called Card with Stickers. I know the butterflies don't look like stickers, but when you run them through Xyron Create A Sticker like I did you have stickers! All of the butterflies even the vellum butterfly and big butterfly in the middle and the 2 squares of PP where sent to me for a layout challenge from Margaret Workman. I just used them on a card. I wanted to try something different! The sentiment- hello- is from The Stamps of Life wreath2stamp. The washi tape is from my stash. The bling is from LacePlaceByHolley. I stamped the sentiment with Ranger Archival Ink and glued the blue butterfly onto the vellum butterfly with Tombow Clear Mono Liquid Glue and also used it on the bling. The paper is also from The Stamps of Life. I mailed this out yesterday so it would be mailed on time. TFL!

I'm Here For You
I made this card for a friend who just had a son die Wednesday at 17 of cardiac arrest due to asthma and went into a coma. He passed out at a friend's house Saturday morning and never woke up. A police officer came to my friend's house to let her know her son was in the hospital Saturday morning. He was given CPR and had brain damage from it. His organs began shutting down Monday and Tuesday they gave him a blood transfusion to help his organs so they could be donated. The plug was pulled at 10:37am Wednesday morning. He just turned 17 on July 6, a week before he died. I didn't mean to start this post out so morbid, but I wanted to share the reason I made this card. The stamp set- image and sentiments- are from There For Her from Unity Stamp Company. I stamped the image and sentiments with Ranger Archival black ink, actually the sentiments are on one stamp I just cut the main sentiment off the inside sentiment after I stamped it. I colored in the image and sentiments with ColorIn Watercolor Twist colored pencils and I used a Gelly Roll Star gel pen on the girl in the dress on the far right. The patterned paper is from Pretty Little Studio Wildflowers Honeycomb 12x12 paper that I trimmed down to fit on the front of the card. I found out about Pretty Little Studio from Jeanne . The bling and the card base is from The Stamps of Life. I tried to give a sunset effect with the background around the image. Sherry has had to be strong for her parents before they died and now for her children and grandkids still living. I can't imagine sending my child if I had one which I don't to a friend's house and not ever interacting with him again. Hug your loved ones daily and keep them close, because this proves you never know when this could happen. Have a great weekend! TFL!

Best Day Ever
I made this layout late last night. I did cut the strip off after I took the picture. I made it in a hurry to get it in a scrapbook group I’m in before midnight for a Rainbow Pride Month entry for June. I had to use either rainbow on the paper or in the pictures so I did both and included rainbow twine on the tag. Lol! The title, cloud, and the Smile tag are die cuts from Bella Blvd Squeeze the Day Collection. The journaling tag is from the same set as the background paper- Heidi Swapp Sun Chaser. I wrote on the tag: Dinosaur Egg Hunt at BG’s Birthday Party 5-21-22. Emily, his mom, (my sister) was showing him the price eggs- all included huge dinosaurs. He & Anna Beth were having fun after the hop was over.

Happy Camper
I made this card yesterday for a C is for Card swap for a group I'm in on Facebook. The stamp set is from The Stamps Of Life camper2stamp set and dies to match. I colored in the camper, flamingo, and camp fire with Spectrum Noir triblend markers. The reason the challenge is called C is for is because the image/sentiment have to start with C. The patterned paper is from Michaels Sparkleberry Ink double-sided paper pad. I believe the card base is from Stampin'Up In Color 8 1/2 x 11 paper collection and the enamel dots are also from The Stamps of Life. This card took forever to make, because I stopped to do laundry, talked on the phone, and couldn't decide on paper. I know my swap partner in the UK will love this card! TFL and have a great day!

April 24 Hour Challenge
I made the following layout using the sketch above for a 24 Hour Challenge with a private scrapbook group I'm in, Scrappin' 'n Chattin', meaning I had 24 hours to complete the layout based on the sketch. My partner chose this sketch for me and Close To My Heart Blossom collection. I decided to rotate the sketch vertically since my picture is vertical. Like I said, I used CTMH Blossom Collection for the main background of the layout and the layered pieces. I'm not sure on the measurements on the strips/layers on the sketch, but I did measure as I cut each piece. The tags are from my stash K& Company, but I don't have them in front of me so I don't know the name of them. The title Easter is from a RAK, but I also have this Best Occasion Jewel Punch Pack. I attached them down after running them through my Xyron 1.5' Create-A-Sticker maker. I tore the capital E when I added it to my page, so I added a jewel enamel dot from The Stamps of Life. I typed the journaling on my computer in Lucinda Calligraphy font- me in my Easter dress 4-17-22. I bought my dress from Belk on sale half off. The photo mat and journaling mat is also from Close To My Heart Blossom collection. This is the first layout I have made following a sketch in awhile so I was nervous about it, but it turned out good.

So Happy We Are Friends
I made this card following the sketch above. Bobbie Sue and Friends of Unity are hopping this weekend and using this sketch. #friendsofunitybloghop I used Unity Stamp Company Being Yourself stamp kit and stamped the image and 2 sentiments with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink. I used paper from The Stamps of Life as the card base and paper I stamped on. The patterned paper is from The Paper Studio Country Road 4.5 x 6.5" pad and the hot pink scraps behind the sentiments are from Colorbok Bright 8.5 x 11" Smooth Cardstock Pad. The sequins are also from The Stamps of Life. I used my Xyron 150 Create A Sticker to attach the sentiments, Tombow Aqua Mono Liquid Glue to attach the sequins, and Teresa Collins Xyron Mega Runner to attach the patterned paper and the stamped image. I plan on mailing this card to a friend for Valentine's day. Feel free to trying the sketch out for yourself, but tag Bobbie Sue's blog and use #friendsodunitybloghop in your post like I did. Have a great day! TFL!
