Soak Up the Sun

I made this LO for Scrappin-n-Chattin's Die Cut Challenge. I made my own die cut- a sand bucket out of Recollections Monkeying Around Funkey Disco Spin PP. I added a piece of red ribbon to it for the handle and a sand dollar and a sailboat as the "bolts" to hold the handle down for more decoration. The main background sheet is Water Storyteller's Club Collection that I received from Dani from her blog candy not too long ago. The title and the journaling blocks came with the collection. The "sand" is from a Colorbok book of Textured 12x12 Paper. The seashells are Sticko that I bought from Walmart and the sand bucket sticker and sun die cut is from my stash. The pictures are of (clockwise from top left to bottom left): 1. Tammy taking a pic of Tyler with his wet pants and Scott (the waves splashed Tyler), 2. Tyler and Scott standing on the shore of the beach, 3. Emily and Scott making a sand castle for Tyler, and 4. the beginning of the sand castle. Tyler didn't want to sit down in the sand, but loved the water! He was sick, too, so he didn't feel that good. We went to Fort Macon State Park November 23, 2010, 2 days before Thanksgiving. Afterwards we went to Beaufort, I haven't developed those pics yet, but will eventually & you know I'll be scrappin' them! I need to get to bed. I have either a cold or the pollen has gotten to my allergies. I hope it's just my allergies, but I'm taking cold meds just in case! I love the warm weather we're having, but can't really enjoy it thanks to my allergies! I'm going to be scrappin this Friday night for a 24 Hour Challenge with Scrappin-n-Chattin, so be looking for another post Friday or Saturday! Have a great Wednesday! :)

I love that LO! I love beach layouts with creative ways to put in sand. I don't know why, they are just cool!
