I made these for Scrappin-n-Chattin. I didn't do anything else today but scrap and catch up on DVR events! I was supposed to clean this afternoon & wash dishes and didn't do either. I'm gonna get up later this morning and do both! The more I added to each page the more crowded they looked and I watched my time the whole time I was doing them! I was pushed for time & wanted to clean, but my time ran out! We went to my grandmama's tonight in Little Washington to eat supper with her. 2 of my mom's cousins were visiting my grandmama overnight. They're Papa's sister's children. They're twins and today is their 50th birthday. They're both Baptists and have strong faith in God. They sang a few songs a capella for us & shared stories about their families. We laughed and cried together. It was a fun night!

Haylee's Bday Card & Gift Bag

I made this card and decorated the gift bag tonight for my stepsister Haylee's 16th birthday! Her birthday was today (actually yesterday since it is way past midnight) and coming here tomorrow night to celebrate with us. I bought her some silver turtle earrings from the aquarium gift shop on Wednesday. The stickers on the back of the bag (picture 2) say, "Let's Get This Party Started!"

Close-up & Fuzzy LOs

I made the first LO Friday and the 2nd yesterday. The pic in the Close-Up LO is of me in 1994 in my freshman year at Johnson Bible College. Yes, I was wearing my prom dress! We were given the opportunity to dress up for this banquet and I decided to wear my prom dress. I ended up tearing it with the heel of my shoe by the end of the night! It was long! The picture in the Fuzzy LO is of my stepdad sleeping on his bed with a stuffed red dog. Both of the LOs were made for Scrappin'-n-Chattin' challenges this month. We had to include something fuzzy on our fuzzy LO, so I used pom-poms and a pipe cleaner to make this "Little Monster" who kinda looks like Elmo! lol  I wanted to try to make a bear, but this is the closest I could get! I've got to get off here and start packing to go to my sister's house for the night. We're getting up around 6 in the morning to go to the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores! I'm taking my camera and plan on taking lots of pics to scrap!! :) Have a great Tuesday!

Steno Swap Conclusion

I made one cover for this swap a few weeks ago and didn't realize I had to make 5. So, this is the other 4 that I just made yesterday afternoon! I can't wait to swap with the other ladies in the swap! These are gonna be glued on 6x9 stenograph notebooks to make them look a lot more appealing! How neat, right?

I haven't done any other scrapbooking lately. I just bought some paper from Michael's on Tuesday that I can't wait to use, but need to find the right pics to use and the time to do so! I've got to check my games on FB, clean the house this afternoon, & go to my sister's for supper. I might find time this afternoon before cleaning to do at least one scrapbook page! My tailbone is still hurting me, so it's hard to sit upright for very long. I made these covers on the couch and added the letter stickers before I took the pics! I made this card for my sister's birthday, it's Sunday.

She loves dolphins & Curious George, so these monkeys are the closest I could find!

I bought these gift bags in a set of 3 at Walmart. I added the stickers, front & back. I thought it was cheaper than buying gift bags already & was fun! My stepbrother's birthday is Saturday. One is for my sister and the other is for my stepbrother. Being unemployed is hard, so whatever I can find to work is the ticket!

Emily bought me this purse from Goodwill for $1.99. I love lighthouses! I'm currently using it and didn't want anything to fall out! I didn't wanna post these on FB for fear that either one sees the pics! I'll update this more later. My internet has been down all week.
