4G's Blog Hop- Day One

Ladies, welcome to our first blog hop! We hope you will enjoy!

Welcome to the first day of our three day hop that will end Sunday. Please visit each blog listed below. Each blogger will post a different project during all three days of the blog hop for you to comment on. Each comment gains you one entry.  If by chance you stopped by my blog randomly, please begin at Stephanie's blog (http://mamamscrapper69.blogspot.com).

Also, for additional entries, please "follow" each blog and "like" each blog. Each member can have up to 5 entries on each blog by the end of the hop.

On Monday, August 17, each blogger will randomly select a winner from all entries for a prize. If you are a winner, the blogger will contact you directly.

Here is my project that I'm sharing with you today. It's an envelope mini album. Sit back and be prepared to view a lot of pictures! I found the tutorial that was shared on Mini Albums, Swaps, & More on Facebook and the original YouTube link is Envelope Album Tutorial.  I used 3 business size envelopes. Most of the paper I used is DCWV The Primrose 12x12 in Stack. I popped up the title "Memories"- a tag from the Primrose Stack- with Recollections Dimensional Foam Squares. The ribbon on the seam is Gold Crown which is part of the Royal Bundle from 3 Girl JAM.
This is the first pocket on the inside. The chalkboard tag is from the Primrose Stack and I used Gelly Roll White pen to make it look like chalk. The background paper is also from the Primrose Stack. You can see where I put the first picture like a tag in the pocket with Timeless Twine Watermelon Sorbet.
This is a picture of Emily- my sister- and I at ages 2 and 4. Both the tag and paper are from the Primrose Stack.
This is the right side of the inside of the album and the second pocket before I added the journaling. The stamps are off of Amy Tangerine- like the old library rotary stamps. I used Versafine Onyx black ink to stamp the stamps with. I stamped Remember and a set of arrows. Here you can see part of the tag I added on the side. I'll have a better picture below.
This is the journaling for the picture included in the pocket: I was the flower girl in my Aunt Aino's first wedding @ 4 yrs old. Picture enclosed below.- written with BIC Velocity black ink pen.

A better pic of the tag. I stamped Happy Memories from the Amy Tangerine stamp and used the same Versa Fine ink on a piece of a blue note pad sheet.
Me and my Aunt Aino. I used scalloped edged decorative scissors around the paper.
This is the 3rd pocket and where I decided to include the date- created August 10, 2015 using the same Amy Tangerine stamp and Versafine ink. I added 2 pictures to this pocket shown below.
This paper is Simple Stories Happy Day Signature Elements 6x12 Page Elements Item #1515. I wrote using Sharpie 80's Glam Valley Girl Violet Fine Point Permanent Marker "our joint birthday party @ McDonald's blue-8- me and 6- Emily" and I used the same Watermelon Sorbet twine as before. I used decorative scissors again- a different pair- around the picture on the paper.
Timothy, me, Erin, and Emily- journaling card shown below. I used the same scalloped edged decorative scissors as before.
journaling pocket from Pick Your Plum
journaling card for picture before- from Studio Calico Journaling Cards- the picture was taken before Timothy's first wedding- written with the same black ink pen
extra journaling pocket from Pick Your Plum

I wrote that this album was of Childhood Memories - more memories to be scrapped or SMASHed later on another Studio Calico journaling tag. Thanks for hopping with us!  You should now proceed to Paula's blog where I know she has something amazing to share! If you should get lost along the way here is the line-up to follow below:
