14 Days of Love Blog Hop

14 Days of Love Blog Hop.... Looking for crafters...

ANY TYPE OF CRAFTER.

This is a totally different hop.

You have to post two times during February 1-14.

It can be ANY type of craft, paper, yarn, thread, paint, gardening, die cut, stamping....

ANYTHING goes as long as it is a craft and you put love INTO it.
I'm entering this card in the January Monthly Challenge with Inspiration Journal (
http://blog.inspirationemporium.com/?p=1958) and the challenge ends tomorrow if you'd like to play along. The only requirement is that you use die cuts or punches. You will see that I used a couple of different punches. Now on with the blog hop!
If you're just stopping by my blog, please go to My Cricut Craft Room to start the hop and with that being said,  here's my card:

This is probably the smallest card I have ever made! I used my We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Floral Burst Die-Cut Punch to make the borders- outer punch on the left and combination of both on the right. The PP is Paper Pizazz Purple Sponged that I bought from JoAnn's. The heart/butterfly punches were RAK from Ashley (http://marinewifesscrappinlife.blogspot.com/). I made the cupcakes with my Martha Stewart cupcake punch and Martha Stewart Punch Pad. All 3 are adhered with my XYRON 1.5" Create-A-Sticker maker. The stamp is Hero Arts Friends & Flowers- also from JoAnn's. The ribbon is Texture Bobbin Ribbon that I bought from Big Lots years ago. The pink paper behind the floral punch is Recollections Butterfly Wings Cardstock Paper- 4.5x6.5 in that I cut down to fit to the size of my card and I used Studio G Multipurpose Glue Stick to attach it to my card. Now for the inside top spread. The hearts and butterfly punches are also from Ashley and adhered with my XYRON. The PP is Paper Pizazz Purple Happiness, also from JoAnn's. I made the cupcake using the same Martha Stewart punch as the front, but the top is Recollections Cupcake Cuties and the bottom is a piece of PP from my stash.
Now for 3 pictures of the inside bottom of the card. This is how it looks when you open it. The top PP is K&Company Urban Rhapsody that I used my scallop edged scissors to give some extra border to the paper and I will write my note on this paper later. The brad is KI Memories Paisley Parade Epoxy Fasteners.

When I added this vellum sentiment I realized I didn't have room for my note, so I decided to attach the paper this way and here I have a picture of the note PP slid out to the left side of the card. The vellum strip is from DCWV Colored Vellum Stack and I used my XYRON again to adhere it to the green paper which is also Recollection Butterfly Wings. I used my Studio G glue stick to glue the green paper down to the purple sparkly paper- Coordination Gemstones Red Ruby- also bought at JoAnn's.
The sentiment is Friends are kisses blown to us by angels. Unknown. I realize it's hard to see in the picture, but you can see it when you look at the card in person. The heart is another RAK from Ashley and I used my XYRON to attach it as well.
I wanted to show the back since I used the floral border on the back as well. I added a piece of the same pink Recollections Butterfly Wings sheet as before. The heart is from the same RAK from Ashley and attached with my XYRON. This is my signature stamp at the bottom- Hero Arts Handmade from the Heart and I wrote 2014. I plan to give this to my friend, Lisa, who also loves to make cards and is just learning how to make scrap layouts. She loves purple so I can't wait for her to see this card! I usually share every card I make with her by texting her a picture of my cards. So it was very hard not to text her a copy of this! This is actually the first project I have used my We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch on so I'm kinda excited with how it turned out!  Please leave me some comments and become a follower while you're at it. Now you're off to Crafting Blog Events on Facebook. TFL!
