A Year of Card Techniques Stamping on Patterned Paper Blog Hop

Welcome to the

Welcome to A Year of Card Techniques Blog Hop where each month we feature a different card technique.  We’ve assembled a team of card makers who range from new to advanced, so you’ll see a great variety of cards and ideas.

We all love our stamp sets and we all love our patterned paper.  Well, this month we’re combining the two by stamping ON patterned paper for some unique projects.  It will be fun to see what stamps and papers our team decides to pair together.   And if you would like to check out our past technique hops, you can do that here:
Our amazing sponsor this month is Card a Day Challenge Blog.
Please take a moment to check out the CADC blog here.
And the awesome prize this month is:

We  really appreciate feedback, so please leave a comment on each of the  blogs in the hop today.   The winner will be announced on Sunday,  August 27, 2017 on A Piece of (my) Heart’s blog, so be sure to go back and check her blog to see if you are the winner!  If you would prefer to be notified, please leave your email address in the comments and someone will contact you if you win.    The winner will have until September 9, 2017 to claim their prize.
You should have arrived here from Debbie's blog . If you're visiting  here first, you might want to start at the beginning so you don't miss a thing and increase your chances of winning by commenting on  each blog.

I have a few projects to share with you so sit back and grab your favorite beverage! I've been working on a gift bag mini album/journal for a swap and the first 2 pics are of the recovered gift bag. I used K&Company  Que Sera Sera Designer 12 x 12 Paper Pad patterned paper on the cover. The butterfly at the top is from my stash. All of the stamps are from Unity Stamp Company. The camera, book-The Wild Adventures of An Authentic Woman, and I see the world better through my lens are from A Girl and Her Adventures Melody Ross Stamps. The arrow at the top right corner and the arrows at the bottom are from grab bags also from Unity. I used Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink to stamp them and then went over where the ink didn't stamp with a Gelly Roll White Medium Ink Pen.
The paper on this page of the journal is from Colorbok Homespun 12 x 12 Signature Collection. I'm not sure if this ticket pad stamp is from Unity or not. A friend gave a bag of stamps with some Unity so it may have been in a grab bag from Unity. I used the same Ranger ink pad as before. I will do a blog entry of the completed journal soon!

This paper that I made this card with is from Recollections Candy Retro 12 x 12 Paper Pad. The hearts were already punched on the paper when I bought the pad. The Love stamp is from Unity Layers of Life Never Ending Love December 2013 stamp set. It's actually the definition of love from 1 Corinthians 13 in the Bible!

I'm the last stop on this blog hop. Hope you had fun and thanks for stopping by.  See you next month with another technique!

Have a great weekend and be sure to come back to see the rest of my gift bag journal and a few other projects I need to blog about! :)
Here’s the full line-up in case you get lost:

Amanda, you made some really great choices for patterned paper...I had some difficulty picking and pairing my paper with stamps. Happy to be hopping with you.

I like the combinations of papers you picked too. Great ideas and love the stamps you used with them. It's hard to find the right matching pair :-) but you did a great job. Thanks for sharing them with us and looking forward to hopping with you next month
