May The Fourth Be With You Blog Hop

Welcome to the

where we will celebrate all things Star Wars related. Whether it's a card, scrapbook page, party plan or quilt, it's related to the Star Wars franchise in some way and we want to share it with you. So in a galaxy far, far away there's a crafter working tirelessly to create some movie magic for you...now on with the projects at hyper speed. You should have come from  MELISSA CHRISTINE's blog. If you just stumbled across my blog, please start at the beginning at  THERESA's blog.  I made a layout of my little brother, Tyler, in his Halloween costume. The patterned paper is Me & My Big Ideas Mambi Premium Cardstock Halloween Pad. The photo mat behind the picture of his costume is also from the same paper pad. I chose green, because when Darth Vader's light saber is lit up it's green. The 3 bling gems in the top right corner are from my stash. I found the Star Wars and Darth Vader printables on Pinterest. They were meant to be cupcake toppers. The Kraft mat behind the Legos Darth Vader is from Recollections Kraft 4 x 6 stack. The title stickers- Chewbacca Vader- are from my stash. I'll explain the reason for the title and costume after the next picture. I typed the journaling for both pictures on my computer using Microsoft Word. Tyler's birthday is Nov 2, but we celebrated Nov 1- because we were all together- he asked for this Legos Star Wars Darth Vader set and he received it from my dad and Tammy.

The journaling block- remember this day- is from a swap from a Facebook group I'm in- it's probably meant for Project Life. I typed out the reason for Tyler's costume is because he didn't want to wear the Darth Vader mask. This was from this past Halloween 2015. He just turned 8 and loves to pose silly for pictures. These 2 pictures are also close-ups of the title Chewbacca Vader. I know they are hard to see in the original picture.

I hope you enjoyed my layout of my little brother. You are welcome to become a follower of my blog. Your next stop on the hop is LISA and I'm sure she'll end this hop with a great project and keep you laughing your heads off!

Aww. Gee. Thanks for that into! Back at ya, Babe! MWAH! I love the originality of the Chewbacca Vadar costume. Pretty cool! And that you caught it all with really good journaling. Yeah! We need to keep those stories going... otherwise, one day, they'll stop being told! Great layout! Sorry so late in the hop... 6 days of swim meets in a row (kinda beat!).
