Growing In Unity Day 1

All this week, today- Friday, I'm going to be posting cards or layouts using Unity Stamp Company stamps so please remember to come back each day to see what I post. I'm the last Growing In Unity Gal for 2015! It's hard to believe this year has flown by already!

I made this birthday card for my friend, Lisa. Her birthday is Tuesday so I need to get it in the mail soon. Anyway, here's the details for the cards. The paper is from Craft Smith 12 x 12" Watercolor Acid Free Scrapbook Pad. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Stampin' Up Remembering Your Birthday and I used VersaFine Onyx Black Pigment Ink to stamp it. (The Stampin' Up link will send you to Julie Brancart's blog who is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I don't remember who I bought or won the stamp set from and I do remember Julie is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. Just in case anyone is interested in buying Stampin' Up products.) I used Unity Stamp Company September Girl as the main focus of the front of the card. I used VersaFine ink to stamp it again. I then colored her in with Spectrum Noir Smooth Laydown Vibrant Hues Essentials Professional Colored Pencils.
For the inside, I used "I miss your face" Unity Itty Bitty various collection stamp and stamped it with VersaFine ink. I stamped all the stamps on typing paper and then used Scotch Mini Glue Dot Runner to adhere them as well as the floral strip. The floral strip is from a piece of a 6 x 6" paper I received as a RAK from Scrappin' Girls of SMASH*aholics private group I am apart of on Facebook. I used decorative scissors on the edge of the card, because I originally made the card too big to fit in an envelope. I don't always do well with my measurements in my scrappin'. I think she's gonna love this card since purple is her favorite color and she loves to bake!

Please leave me a comment and come back tomorrow. TFL!
