Welcome to Day 4 of Growing In Unity! Sorry I'm late posting this. I discovered Netflix tonight for the first time and waited until almost 12 to put a project together. I watched August Osage County- great movie with some harsh cussing- rated R for that reason, LOL! I decided to make a New Year's card for some friends that I received a Christmas card from and forgot to send them one. I've got to find an envelope for the card to fit in. Anyway, enough rambling! I found this paper- K&Company Que Sera Sera Designer 12 x 12" Pad at Michaels on Tuesday and used a 50% off coupon from Sunday's paper and since it was the highest item that I bought I got the pad for $7.50! I love deals like that! The Celebrate stamp is from an old collection I bought years ago and I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink to stamp it. I used a stencil and a Creative Memories Black Basic Round-Tip Marker- from a set of 4 (the other colors are red, green, and blue) to write Happy New Year. The tag is from my stash and so is the bling.
I know you're thinking where's the Unity stamp?! :) I used the clock Unity stamp from May 2013 Totally & Utterly Amazing Kit Of The Month and used VersaFine ink again. The sentiment stamp is part of a 2 piece set that I also found at Michaels and is a Momenta stamp. I used VersaFine on this stamp as well. I highly recommend VersaFine ink when stamping! It's the best ink pad I've ever bought. I will add a message later before I mail the card. I used my Close To My Heart mounting square to hold the card down. Yes, I shop from a variety of scrap companies! 15 years of scrap product adds up to a variety which is good! :)Please keep me in your prayers as I feel like I'm getting sick, but it could be just pressure from the weather changing here in NC. We had thunderstorms all day and the temperature is supposed to drop into the 50s over the weekend. Thank you all for the nice comments! I really appreciate them all. Please come back tomorrow as I have one more project to share. I hope you all have a Happy New Year and don't party too hard! I'll be putting together a 1000 piece puzzle of the American lighthouses and watch the ball drop at Times Square on TV. I'm off today and will work on tomorrow's project later this afternoon. TFL!
