Happy Easter Card
I used the above sketch that I had saved in my files from last year & never used it. I'm mailing it to Shannon, a friend of mine. The floral PP and the green PP on the inside are Colorbok Pattern Pack Spring Morning, the cardstock stickers (the bunnies, eggs, & "some bunny loves you") are The Paper Studio Easter Cardstock Stickers found at Hobby Lobby, the orange strip on the front is Martha Stewart Crafts EK Success Brands Punch Pad, and the "Happy Easter" sticker is The Paper Studio Stickabilities from Kim when I was the "It" girl I stuck it on a piece of My Mind's Eye Happier 6x6 Designer Paper Pad & adhered it with my Xyron Create a Sticker maker. The butterfly ribbon is American Crafts Spring Pink which I also adhered with my Xyron Create a Sticker. I love using it for most of my scrapbooking needs! :) I believe this is the first Easter card I've ever made. I know it's one of the first cards I have used a sketch to follow! I just went to Hobby Lobby this past Saturday while shopping for an Easter dress at Ross and while I was there I decided I've gotta go back!! It's amazing!! The store just opened a few weeks ago and I've always wanted to go in one. We have a Michaels in our New Bern Mall and I can honestly admit that Hobby Lobby tops it!! I won't stop shopping at Michaels don't get me wrong, but I'll be going back to Hobby Lobby for more scrapbook stuff! They have a lot more variety! Hobby Lobby & Ross are out of town whereas Michaels is in town so I will be comparing prices on scrapbook items! I hope you all have a great Easter! TFL!

Laura & Pirate
I have been holding out on scrappin' because I didn't think I had any pics to scrap. It was so nice and warm here today so I decided to scrap this pic! Something about the warm weather gets my creative juices going! :) The paper is DCWV All About Boys Stack as is the blue stars journal mat and title mat. The journaling states that "Laura & Pirate were in a Horse Show in August 2012. Here they are mid jump. They received several ribbons that day: 2nd in Hunter Over Fences, 1st in Equitation Over Fences, 2nd in Adult Hunter, 1st in Adult Equitation, and Champion Overall in Adult Hunter Division!" I decided to use this paper because of the horse's name- Pirate- and he is a star! :) The brown/white twine around the journaling is from a blog hop prize that I believe I won from Heather Lynn! I wanted to add a little something around the journaling. The paper has enough going on that I didn't need to add stickers or much of anything to the layout! I like how the font I chose (Stencil) makes the letter "U" look like a horse shoe! TFL!
