I made this LO for Scrappin-n-Chattin's 5x7 LO Challenge. The journaling states that the pic is of "Tyler with the Easter Bunny 2011". I can't believe how grown he looks in this pic! Can you believe he's only 3?!Tyler loved ducks when he was a baby so that's why you chose the duck paper for the background. It's also Easter appropriate! I also love the Easter chicks stickers! They are made by Recollections. The title, "Picture Perfect", and the journaling egg are all from A Family Affair Collection. The duck paper was originally an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet that I cut to make the background for the picture. I received it along with a lot more from Ashley as a Random Act of Kindness. It was a surprise RAK which is even better!
I'm off for Easter thanks to TJMaxx being closed! I actually get a weekend off even if it is Sunday and Monday! I can't wait to relax! I may do some more scrappin Monday afternoon. I hope you all have a great Easter! I bought a new dress and may have to post a pic! Have a good weekend!

Lasting Memories Challenge
I made this LO for Lasting Memories ( http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/) Challenge. The challenge was to include journaling on our LO. The only pic taken at Thanksgiving is the one of Tammy & Tyler making Pilgrim Hat Cookies. I decided to put all these pics together since they are all my family and as the the title says they are special to me! The journaling states that "Tammy & Tyler made Pilgrim Hat Cookies at Thanksgiving at Grandmama Rhodes' house Thanksgiving 2010. They came back in Feb 2011 when Grandmama fell & broke her hip. Emily & Tyler are playing a game on XBox in the bottom pic." Yes, today was my day off so I had to make time for some scrappin! It's back to work tomorrow until next Monday! Have a good week!! TFL!

Check out Illene's Blog for a Huge Giveaway!
Illene is having a big giveaway on her blog. Check it out! http://whatabunchofscrap.blogspot.com/2011/03/big-news-and-big-giveaway.html
Cousins LO
I used this sketch to follow on this LO. I'm not sure where I found it, but I know I found it online somewhere and have never used it. I decided to use Story Tellers Club Chillin Collection for the paper and journaling box. The Picture Perfect embellishment is from A Family Affair Collection that I used on my last LO. The letters for the title "Cousins" are ATD Vibrant stickers. I had to use my Xyron Sticker Maker with the letters, the sticky didn't stick to the letters as they come. The journaling states that "These were all taken at Roy & Debbie's (my dad's brother or my uncle & aunt) house Thanksgiving 2010. In the top pic is Landen, Tyler, & Madison playing. The pic below it is Madison, Dakota, Titus, & Jonah. The last pic is Michele, Liz, Brittany, & Willow." They are all my cousins from my dad's side of the family, obviously. I chose the Chillin paper instead of the Thanksgiving paper, because this paper isn't as busy as the Thanksgiving paper is and they are all "chillin" in the pics! I think I'm liking my LOs with less clutter! Too many embellishments cover up the paper too much and weighs the paper down!
I don't know about the weather where everyone else is, but it was nice here today! It got in the 80s! It was windy and still is, but was nice. It's supposed to be in the 60s all week until the weekend and then warm up close to 80 again! Have a good night, all! We will soon know the champion of the 2011 NCAA Basketball games! I hope Butler wins, but it's gonna be a close one either way going on the performance from Saturday. I can't wait til I can watch an entire NASCAR race, I've worked every Sunday since the season started back.

The Paper Variety's Recipe Challenge
I made this LO for The Paper Variety's Recipe Challenge & Scrappin-n-Chattin's Us Challenge. The paper is A Family Affair Collection from the blog candy I won from Dani. As you can tell, the challenge requires a 1-2-3 combination. I used 1 photo, 2 floral stickers, and 3 star stickers. I entitled it "Siblings" because it is a picture of Emily, Scott, Tyler, and me. The quote at the bottom states that "The family is one of nature's masterpieces." (George Santayana) The journaling states that the pic is of me, Emily, Scott, and Tyler in Emily & Scott's living room November 24, 2010. The Us Challenge for Scrappin-n-Chattin requires a pic of you and someone else so this LO also fits that challenge! All of the stickers except the stars stickers are from A Family Affair Collection. I better wrap this up and study my Sunday School lesson. I have to work tomorrow and am going out to eat with a friend tomorrow night so I won't be able to study my lesson tomorrow night. Have a good weekend & TFL!
