Now on to my project:
I decided to make a layout of pictures from Arizona. I went to Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Mesa last September and also visited Grand Canyon while I was in Arizona. Ok, now for the deets!  The paper is Recollections Wood Leaves 12 x 12 in Scrapbook Paper. The middle picture mat and journaling mat is from We R Memory Keepers High Five 6 x 6 in Paper Pad. The title stamp- Keep Your Curiosity Fresh is from Stampin' Up Adventure Awaits clear stamp set and I stamped it with VersaFine black onyx pigment ink on a piece of Recollections Strawberry Cream 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The other two photo mats are also the same Recollections paper.

I used a die from my stash and cut it out on my Cuttlebug. I printed the journaling out on my computer and it states that Laura and I walked a trail to the Grand Canyon and saw the deer just off the trail as we were almost to the canyon.  I'm hoping I can go to Arizona again this year for Stamp and Scrapbook Expo, but I may be going to another location. That's all I have for you today. Have a great weekend!
Now you're off to Sandy https://simplycraftycreationsbysandys.blogspot.com/ where I'm sure she has something awesome to share!

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Happy Birthday

I had 2 friends to have birthdays in the same week and I forgot to share them on my blog. The card base is Recollections Card and Envelope 4 in x 5.5 in Card Pack. The Happy Birthday stamp is from The Stamps of Life. The pink paper mat behind it is from Recollections Strawberry Cream 8.5 x 11 paper pack and I cut it down to fit on the card. I used VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink on all 3 stamps. The camera and the inside sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company Focus on the Things stamp set. I colored in the camera stamp with various colored pencil sets. The background paper is from Recollections Backyard Table 12 x 12 paper pad.

The card base on this card is from the Recollections Card and Envelope set again. The background paper is from Colorbok Marble 12 x 12 Printed Cardstock Paper Pad. The mermaid stamp is from Mystical Mermaid stamp set from Unity Stamp Company. A friend stamped the image for me so I'm not sure which ink she used. I colored it in as well as the background with various colored pencil stamp sets. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Gina K Designs My Anchor stamp set. I used VersaFine pigment ink to stamp it on the card. Both friends have received their cards so I can now post all the details about the cards. I will be participating in Into the Woods Blog Hop on June 9 so please come back to hop along then. Have a great Memorial Day and remember the true reason- those who have served in our military for us. TFL!

Happy Mother's Day

I used the sketch above from Unity Stamp Company and for their challenge that ends April 26. It can actually be found at UNITY {show & tell} where you can request to become a member if you're not already.
I made this card last night for my mom for Mother's Day. She's not here right now, because she went to be with my grandmama who just passed this morning at 9. Now for the details of my card. The card base is Recollections Card and Envelope 4 in x 5.5 in Card Pack. The background paper and the 3 strips is from the same Basic Grey Vivienne Iris double-sided 12 x 12 sheet that I trimmed down for the card. The background behind the clouds- that is barely seen- is from Authentique Latest and Greatest 6 x 6 in cardstock pad. The clouds paper is from Bella Blvd Simply Spring Daily Details 12 x 12 journaling sheet that I cut in half and will use the other half of the piece later. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company Itty Bitty Mother's Day Daisies and the stamped image is from Unity Stamp Company Itty Bitty Not Perfect. I stamped them both on typing paper with VersaFine Onyx Black Pigment Ink. I used NPW 50/50 Two-Tone Colored Pencils to color in the image. The fabric buttons are from a friend online, Amy Watson, from her shop which I'm not sure is online anymore. I've got to hide this card where she won't see it before Mother's Day, but I don't think she will. Please keep my family in your prayers this weekend. We have a wedding to go to next Saturday. I made a card for my cousin in the post below. I know my grandmamma is in Heaven and free of pain and can walk- she was bedridden the last few days. TFL!
