Here's the scrapbook LO of the day! LOL The challenge was to create a LO with something flying on it. So, I chose butterflies!

I have a job with TJ Maxx!!
A lady from TJ Maxx called me this afternoon around 2:30 and asked if I'd like a Part-time Service Associate positon! I told her yes and she then told me that Orientation is at 2 on Monday back at the same place I applied. I can't wait to have my own money again and do things I've been wanting to do while I haven't been working!!

My Weekend Plans/ Raw Scrapbook LO
I'm doing laundry right now to pack tonight so I can stay with my grandmother Sunday night-Wednesday. She just came home yesterday from rehab from her back surgery. I'm going to help her do things around the house. She can't bend over so she's been taught how to hang up clothes and hang them out on the line with some sort of grab stick. She loves gardening, but won't have much of a garden this year because of her back.
Before I go to my Grandmama's house, I've got to clean the house here this afternoon. If I don't get a call from TJMaxx this afternoon for orientation tomorrow, I'm going to scrap some tomorrow. I'll be home alone all day tomorrow, so I'll have lots of quiet time to scrap! Sunday morning during worship at church, I've got to sit at the computer and learn how to run a new program- Pro Presenter. I've got to study my Sunday School lesson some time tomorrow, too. I teach the 3 & 4 year-old Sunday School class every Sunday! I just have 3 usually- 2 girls and a boy. One of the girls likes to help me every Sunday, so my job isn't as hard! I'm just starting to figure them all out! lol The little boy doesn't like to sit still, the other little girl is quiet but lets you know when she wants something, and "my little helper" is smart for a 3 year old! Oh, I'll watch the race Sunday afternoon and try to catch a nap while it's on! LOL I'll have to help my sister cook tomorrow night, too. My mom is going to my grandmama's house tonight and will come back Sunday sometime. I'm going to be busy the next few days!
Here's the scrapbook LO I made last night of Tyler. The challenge was to put something raw on the LO. I used a brown granite square found at Lowe's/Home Depot that looks like sand paper. It's under the picture with "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" sticker over it. I've been wanting to use this nativity paper and finally found the perfect picture for it! :)

TJ Maxx & Song Lyrics Scrapbook Layout
Before, I tell you about my TJMaxx experience, yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of my grandmother's surgery! I'm grateful that she's alive instead of the opposite!! I totally forgot until my aunt mentioned in a forward I just read! I knew yesterday morning April 20th, something happened, but it wasn't clicking in my head! I knew I what I was doing and not what had happened! Anyway, I applied at TJMaxx yesterday! I sat and waited 3 hours to be interviewed! I had to fill out my application first, they called my name after waiting an 1 1/2 hours to go sit in what used to be Waldenbooks to wait for another 1 1/2 for one of 3 interviewers to interview me! To top it all off, I didn't eat lunch before I went, so I was getting a headache and getting light headed! I had to fan myself to stay awake! I'm glad it's behind me, but what a wait for a 15 minute interview!! The other 2 interviewers talked a lot more than the woman that interviewed me, they took longer, another girl timed them! LOL All 3 were women, but they needed more than 3 for the number of people that are applying! Some people took an application and decided to come back to wait to be interviewed once they heard the wait time! I knew I couldn't come back, so I decided to stay there and wait it out! Needless to say, I was hungry after my interview and wanted some food!! I ate a cinnamon/sugar coated pretzel and drank a Mt Dew cause I knew I would be eating supper soon. If I'm called, orientation is Saturday! They will be interviewing the rest of the week, but I still have a chance! Please pray that I get the job!!
Here is the Song Lyrics layout I made this afternoon in memory of my grandfather:

Monday, Monday...
What I busy day I have in store today! I have done my laundry, now just have to fold it and put it away! I hate that chore! I wish it would fold itself! ;) I've been watching the race off and on since 12. I also received a big envelope filled with scrapbooking supplies in the mail today!! A friend from Scrappin'-n-Chattin' told me Friday to be watching my mail box this week! I wasn't expecting it today, but was glad to see it! I wasn't expecting so much either!! I can't wait to use it! I didn't do any scrapbooking this past weekend. I went with my mom to visit my grandmama in the nursing home Saturday, my aunt & uncle at their house, and then went to my grandmama's house to help my mom work on and move her plants. Yesterday, I took it easy and watched TV- Beauty & The Briefcase, Brothers & Sisters, & Army Wives. I was hoping to watch the race yesterday afternoon, but it was rained out, so I took a nap! Beauty & The Briefcase was a good movie on ABC Family! If you like Hilary Duff, Kyle XY, & How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, you'll love this movie! The guy that stars on Kyle XY is in Beauty & The Briefcase. I'm not going to tell you the plot of the movie, but once you watch it you will see how it relates to How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days! Oh, I took pictures of my grandmama's flowers on Saturday and am thinking about doing the Picture A Day Challenge I have seen some people do on FB. I may have to charge my batteries more, but so be it! I need to recharge them soon, my camera's dead right now. I'm supposed to go apply at TJMaxx later this afternoon, too. It all depends on which of my parents get home first and what time they get home. TJMaxx is having a hiring event all week at the mall Monday-Friday from 10am-7pm. So, if I don't get there today, maybe tomorrow!

My Day So Far...
I went to help a friend start packing to get ready to move this morning. We put a dent in the cleaning/packing process! I need to get up from here and start cleaning the house- vacuum, clean the bathroom, and wash dishes. Here's a scraplift I did yesterday:
See the similarities?! It's my first scraplift! While I'm at it another blog is offering blog candy: http://scrappalific.blogspot.com/. Check it out if you're a fellow scrapbooker! It's her 4th year anniversary for her blog. Tell her that Amanda from Scrapbook Challenges sent you, please. Thanks for looking!

Time for a Change
I decided it's time for a change for the my blog!! I've been looking at a lot of scrapbook blogs lately and thought it would be neat for me to share my scrapbooking on my blog!! I haven't updated this in so long that I'm going to have to remind myself to blog every day! Here are 2 layouts (LOs) I have made recently:
I did this LO for Scrapbook Challenge. The challenge is called Cutting Floor and we were challenged to cut on our pictures on the LO. The LO is a tribute to my grandmother and her brothers.
I did this LO just for the fun of making a 2 pg LO! The pictures were taken last April when my dad, Tammy, & Tyler came to visit my grandmother, family & friends in NC. Thanks for looking! Enjoy! :)
