More Valentine's

I decided to make some more Valentine's today. The card above is for Robert, the guy I've been talking to online. We want to try to meet face to face this summer and get to know each other better. The red paper was one sheet of 8x8 that I fussy cut from DCWV Scrapbook Kit in a Stack Love & Wedding. The ribbon is Recollections that I bought from Walmart. They were $1 each a few weeks ago. The 3 gems at the top are Studio Calico Gems Adhesive Dots that I received in the mail today from Tammy Smith of Cuttin' and Stampin' and you can also find her on YouTube. I participated in a Create*Craft*Share YouTube hop with Scrappin Madge in December. She's having another one tomorrow so you might wanna check it out! :) I won the gems and some other goodies. I'll include the picture of what I won at the bottom of this post. On to the next card!
I made this card for Lisa. I forgot to mention that both card bases are Studio G that I bought at Michaels. The Happy Valentine's Day stamp is Craft Smart- another Michaels find. I stamped it on a page from American Crafts Studio Calico Lemon Lush 6x6 paper pad (seen below). The flowers are paper flowers and the Best Friends banner- 3D Embellishments- are both more Michaels' finds. The gems at the bottom are from the same pack of Studio Calico Gems (there's 8 different sizes of 4 colors) as seen below. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere everything except the ribbon on the first card. I used my Xyron 1.5" Create-a-sticker maker to attach the ribbon. I will be making a few more Valentine's this week so please come back to see those! TFL!
Thanks, Tammy!! I can't wait to use the journal cards and the bits!

Happy Valentine's Day

I made this pinwheel card following Sending Love Pinwheel Card tutorial. The card base is from Michaels. The ribbon is Recollections. The pinwheel pieces/squares are from Martha Stewart punch pad. The owl is from a Sticko Owl Repeat set. I used thin Glue Dots to put the pinwheel together and the ribbon is adhered using my Xyron 1.5 Create-a-sticker maker. The base of the pinwheel, which you can't see is from DCWV Scrapbook Kit in a Stack Love & Wedding. I may make more of these and will put it on a bigger card. I'm not sure who I will give this to, but it will be one of my Valentine's I mail this year! I also bought a Happy Valentine's Day stamp and some Heidi Swapp Mini Stencils to use- both from Michaels. TFL!

Hello!

I just made this card using the above Monday Mojo sketch and you can play along at Mojo Monday until January 18 8 pm Mountain time.  Ok, now for the details! The pink solid paper is Best Occasions Jewel Punch Out Pack. The diagonal and floral papers are KI Peace & Butterflies Paper Pack. The Polka dotted paper is Studio G Variety Pack, but believe it or not they're both made at the exact same place just different years! How about that?! The hello is a Pebbles Clear Acrylic stamp that I bought as a set from TJ Maxx. I used Versa Fine Onyx Black Pigment Ink to stamp it and mounted the stamp to a clear Close to My Heart square block. The flowers in the corners are Michaels 3D Embellishments that I found in the $2 craft aisle! I ran out of Glue Dots while making this card, so I finished it off with Elmer's Disappearing Purple Washable School Glue stick. I used my Xyron 1.5" Create-A-Sticker to adhere the hello stamp after stamping it to 8.5 x11 typing paper that I cut out, of course. I will be buying more glue dots this week! That's all for now and TFL!
